Alamo City Tres Dias - Elections May 18, 2024

​The election will take place at our Spring Victory Secuela & General Meeting. We hope that you will consider getting involved in our community.  This section will provide information about what qualifications you need to be a board member, how to nominate yourself or someone else for a board position, and then how you can be involved and vote in the upcoming election.


Purpose of the ACTD Board


The purpose of the Board of Directors of the Community (aka the Secretariat) is to serve, guide, and foster the growth of the Community by:

  • Following the "Essentials of Tres Dias"
  • Communicating policies and actions of the Board to all members of the community
  • Approving the planning, scheduling, and carrying out of programs in the Community (including pre-weekend, weekend, and post-weekend phases)
  • Exchanging support with other Tres Dias communities


To be qualified to serve on the Board, a person should:

  • Have a lifestyle commensurate with Christian principles.
  • Be a member of a local church and in regular attendance.
  • Have a track record of support of the Tres Dias movement.
  • Have worked on at least three (3) Tres Dias Weekend teams; provided, however, that the Secretariat may make such exceptions to this requirement as it deems appropriate. (This requirement shall be waived for the initial interim board.)


Further to these details, being involved in the board requires regular attendance at monthly board meetings, handling the duties of your position as a servant to first Jesus Christ, and then to our community.  We want you to be very prayerful about becoming involved in the board so that you are committed to helping us grow the community to be able to continue to reach as many people as we can in and around the San Antonio area, creating servant leaders to go back into their churches and become more involved there as well.


How to get involved

If you are interested in serving on the ACTD Board, please review the Board Positions and their descriptions.


If you want to nominate yourself or someone else for a board position, please see the Nomination Form and complete that form.


Finally,  please attend the upcoming Spring Secuela where you will be able to vote if you are an active member of our community.  If you are not able to attend then you can still participate in the election process by registering for electronic voting using the Electronic Voting Registration form as well.


Election Details

The ACTD Annual Meeting and Board Elections will be held directly after the Spring Victory Secuela. At this time, in-person voting using paper ballots will be taken. 


If you are not able to attend the Secuela on May 18, 2024, you can register to vote electronically using the following form - Electronic Voting Registration.


All registrations must be received no later than May 18, 2024, @ 10:00 AM in order to be valid.  After you have registered you will receive additional information on how to vote electronically.  Electronic voting will open on May 18, 2024, @ 6:00 PM and close on May 22, 2024 @ 6:00 PM.  Election results will be sent out to the community after our board meeting at the end of May.
