Alamo City Tres Dias -2019 Election

This is an exciting new phase of our community, our first official board election that will complete the process in order for our community to officially be chartered by Tres Dias International.

The election will take place TBD at our Spring Victory Secuela and we hope that you will consider getting involved in our community.  This section will provide information about what qualifications you need to be a board member, how to nominate yourself or someone else for a board position and then how you can be involved and vote in the upcoming election.

Purpose of the ACTD Board

The purpose of the the Board of Directors of the Community (aka the Secretariat) is to serve, guide, and foster growth of the Community by:

  • Following the "Essentials of Tres Dias"
  • Communicating policies and actions of the Board to all members of the community
  • Approving the planning, scheduling, and carrying out of programs in the Community (including pre-weekend, weekend, and post-weekend phases)
  • Exchanging support with other Tres Dias communities

To be qualified to serve on the Board, a person should:

  • Have a lifestyle commensurate with Christian principles.
  • Be a member of a local church and in regular attendance.
  • Have a track record of support of the Tres Dias movement.
  • Have worked on at least three (3) Tres Dias Weekend teams; provided, however, that the Secretariat may make such exceptions to this requirement as it deems appropriate. (This requirement shall be waived for the initial interim board.)

Further to these details, being involved in the board requires regular attendance at monthly board meetings, handling the duties of your position as a servant to first Jesus Christ, and then to our community.  We want you to be very prayful about becoming involved in the board so that you are committed to the helping us grow the community to be able to continue to reach as many people as we can in and around the San Antonio area, creating servant leaders to go back into their churches and become more involved there as well.
